Here We Go...Greeks to Vote on Bailout

Earlier in the day, a socialist party talking head came out and called the referendum call "basically dead."  Not so, said the Greek Spokesman Toklas:

What do you think the odds are that the same people who have been rioting over the austerity measures for nearly 2 years will suddenly vote to pass the bailout/austerity/national raping?  The same people that did this are now supposed to vote in favor of a bailout stuffed down their throats?


Game Over?

Stocks slid near session lows in the final minutes of trading Tuesday as investors digested a handful of headlines from the Greece that the Prime Minister will hold a referendum on a new European debt deal reached last week, according to a spokesman.
Earlier, stocks pared their losses following a report that said Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou's referendum call is "basically dead," according to a socialist party official.
