Texas legislators are set to discuss Anti-TSA groping legislation today during a special session.
Reports indicate that the legislation has enough votes to pass, likely infuriating one Janet Napolitano.
Don't expect the TSA to go down without a fight, however- reports indicate they will appeal any legislation that Texas passes restricting TSA's illegal groping by stating that the law is a violation to the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution. (Yes, apparently the TSA considers themselves the constitution....need we say more?)
Following a gargantuan lobbying effort on behalf of pressure groups, Governor Rick Perry was forced to add the legislation to a special session earlier this week and the bill is set to be heard on Friday. State Senator Dan Patrick, the leading sponsor behind the bill, is already confident that the legislation has enough votes for passage.
