DSK pleaded "Not Guilty" to NY State Supreme Court Justice Michael Obus this morning in Manhattan.
It looks like DSK's team is going with the consensual argument that has worked so often for NBA/NFL players (most prominently Kobe Bryant and Ben Roethlisberger x2) as DSK's lawyer gave this statement this morning:
“There was no element of forcible compulsion whatsoever in this case,” Strauss-Kahn's lawyer Benjamin Brafman told reporters outside the courthouse after the arraignment.
If DSK's team goes with "consensual" for its main defense, you can pretty much rule out many of the wilder conspiracy theories that have been swirling the web.
DSK's next hearing is scheduled for July 18. Until then, the former IMF head will remain locked up in his Manhattan palace.
