MSNBC: Did Ron Paul Win Iowa, Nevada, Minnesota, Colorado and Missouri?

When allegations of voter fraud surfaced in Iowa and Nevada, the story was completely ignored by the MSM.  However, now that MSNBC has discovered that Ron Paul has apparently won the MAJORITY of delegates (what actually matters) in Iowa, Nevada, Minnesota, Colorado, and Missouri due to the persistence and dedication of Ron Paul supporters, the media is suddenly throwing a hissy fit and crying foul.

This is classic TEA Party Movement dynamics in action. Few folks recall that this sort 'trench warfare' relentlessness completely repopulated State Republican Party structure of a few States, about a year and a half ago. Since then, those who had mounted the assaults have been conducting seminars to teach others how to accomplish the same results in their States as well. TPM a passing moment of anguish? Keep thinking that GOP and DNC. You guys are toast. This time it's for real!

This is total bs. I was at the caucus. In my precinct, the votes were Mitt R 6, Newt G 3, Rick S 23, and RON PAUL....1 (yes, you read that correctly, 1, one, uno).

Great video filled with emotional highs and lows. Yet informative, showing the underbelly of a system frightfully skewed.

Anonymous 5:19 PM,

You don't fully understand the caucus process. The straw poll means nothing. Nominating delegates are awarded at the state convention. If RP supporters personally obtain the state delegate positions awarded through their precinct votes, then they can vote for whatever national delegate they choose.

Again, caucus straw poll results are meaningless.

The whole election and voting process in this country sucks and needs a complete system flush.

Total of 6 delegates from my caucus, 4 were RP supporters including myself that will see this through as far as we can. This is how it happens. It's real, actual human suport, not a flipping Jr HS popularity contest where you write who you "like" on a piece of paper!

This is America; This is Washington State where ya count the votes until you get the right result. He who counts the votes decides.

This IS pretty darned hilarious; RomBot and his folk THOUGHT this would buy him delegates, but guess what? RON PAUL delegates have far too much integrity to be BOUGHT. So, GOP: keep your thirty pieces of silver. It ain't gonna happen.
Ms Maddow; thanks for (almost) presenting this, esp thanks for having Doug Wead on, one very SMART GUY who explains it very well!

Now, after reading some comments, I HAVE to say this; it IS a Republic and NOT a Democracy. It's been that way since beginning of USA. Sorry you didn't get the memo. Now, the CHANGE was to make delegates proportional, rather than ALL states being winner-take all, and that has been great for Paul, esp since set-up to be profitable for ROMBOT. So let go of that anger. At least we're seeing correct (decent) results, unlike other years.
Go, Ron Paul, GO... RP delegates; LOVE YOU!

It's called a Putsch... or rather, a bunch of them.

Maybe when Obama wins the right to stay in the white house for another 4 he can ask Ron Paul to cross the isle permanently and school him on the way out of this mess. Would never happen.......but I like the way it sounds. It's to bad they have to be a Rep or a Dem and not just an American!

Crazy Canuck

PS...our system is just as fucked up and twice as confusing :-)

Finally, she understands how the political process works. How come it's only the Paul supporters that are political aware? ...And now I know why people would vote for obama, or romney. Plain ignorance!

If I was a Ron Paul supporter and a delegate and Romney tried to bribe me, I'd just take the money and vote Ron Paul anyway. Might as well get some of that Bain Capital action while you're at it.

I assure you it isn't the Tea Party doing this. Tea Party's have been co opted to vote establishment. Just last night I went to a large Tea Party event and Ron Paul wasn't even on their straw poll ballot.

Glad to hear that RP's doing well on delegates count. The sheople that votes for the fakes know nothing but which denomination they belong to and how to swallow sweet lies from a well-oiled you know what! Go RP!!! Hand over their collective ass back to them! ;)

So what you all are saying is, Room Paul is a scamming sob. Hire delegates to go to caucus, lite that they will vote for Mitt or Rick. Then secretly core for Ron Paul. Guess Ron Paul and his supporters are no better than dictators and any other scum in the world

WA state, Cowlitz County, Oklahoma Precinct

Straw Poll: Paul 7, Romney 6
Delegates: Paul 5, Romney 1

The ones nominated were elected without ballot because no other Romney supporters were willing to become delegates. We Paul supporters, in the spirit of goodwill, did not force a vote by nominating another Ron Pauler in absentia, in which case we would have had all 6 delegate spots.

My point: Ron Paulers are committed, others are not.
