Silver Bullet & the Silver Shield: The Narrated Video

Chris Duane has embarked on the task of putting The Silver Bullet & the Silver Shield into a narrated video series. The first 6 parts are included below. This is an EXCELLENT tool to share with your friends and family to help convince them to purchase physical silver.

Part 2: Silver is Money

Part 3: Why Silver & Not Gold

Part 4: Silver is the Indispensable Metal

Part 5: Infinite Money, Finite World

Part 6: Physical Silver Has No Counter-party Risk

These videos connect some important dots are not commonly accepted or realized
It'll take about 20 minutes to review.
Plan accordingly

The only nit I have to pick with the authors presentation has to do with confiscation. With the same "flick of a pen" used to create fiat money, the president or congress can make it illegal to own PM's. Now this does not mean that the sheeple must or will be compliant but come on.......do they really know any other way to be? They'll do it to be Patriotic or to avoid being declared Terrorists. They will use ownership and use of PM's as a means to further divide us and turn us on each other. Just recall the current "If you see something, Say something" campaign. In my eyes, this is the only downside to owning it. Damn this is going to get messy!

Just leave the US for the better future for you and your kids! US is done politicaly, financialy and with unemployment over 20%! You can live better life in Singapure, HongKong, Uruguay, Chile, etc.

Good thoughts ANON 3:55. The only problems with leaving the US (strictly my opinion) are:

1 - When the SHTF remember that there's going to be tremendous reserves of oil in the US. Not only oil, but others resources most countries don't have in any quantity.

2 - There's not very many countries that actually love or even like Americans. I think you are likely to persecuted in a foreign land when things get rough. It will be tough here too but I think your chances of survival will be greater here in the US.

Besides, this is my homeland, country of my birth as well as my parents, grandparents and longer. I won't run from it. "Today is a good day to die".

Freedom.

Good, informative videos, but I am not convinced about the ownership of silver over gold. The key point made in part 3 is that central banks don't own silver. What's not mentioned is that central banks can revalue the fiat currency in terms of what they do own: gold. So if some models say the outstanding debt can be covered by revaluing gold to, say, $50,000/oz, where would that leave silver? Nothing suggests silver has to stay at 15:1 ratio or any even a 50:1 ratio.

Don't get me wrong, I like every thing else in these videos and I do own both PM's.

Anon 1:45, No thanks. I have lived all over the world in my short 45 years. There are certainly some places I like better than the US but this is my home. I'd rather stay here and try to be part of the solution rather than just give up and leave. If I die in that endeavor then so be it! For those who do choose to leave, I sincerely hope their passports and citizenship are permanently revoked.

What is clear is that you should own both gold and silver and not worry so much if you like mother more than dad. Both metals are money.
Everyone should do their homework to understand
why to pick one over the other if you desire.
You will not go wrong owning both metals. Buy only when you have available currency. Todays prices for either will not matter if you are a long term holder. Just keep buying !!

I don't understand all the talk of "revaluing gold". I believe what people are really talking about is "devaluing" their own currency in not only terms of gold but everything else. No one has the ability or authority to revalue a global commodity unless they control 100% of that commodity. When people talk about revaluing commodities or devaluing currencies they always seem to do so as if it is a benign, or good thing. Nothing could be further from the truth. To take such a step would make things several orders of magnitude worse for everyone except central bankers.

I'm a stacker of PM's... It baffles me though how people go on rants on how corrupt the government is and stuff like that but yet they purchase "junk" silver and American Silver Eagles saying they do so cause it's "real" money, made by the government they so badly despise, and it's backed by this same government... Makes me chuckle when I see people put that up or say it... If the government is as fucked up as you feel, which I feel it's beyond fucked up and unrepairable at current state, why do you support it by purchasing ASE or "junk"? I'm just curious is all... I am a FIRM believer in the phrase "to each there own"... Everyone has the right and privilege to do as they like for there reasons.. I personally have only a couple ASE that I picked up when I first started stacking... I don't really care for them... So like I said, I'm just curious...lol

Hello Danno,

Here's the deal. As we may despise what our government is doing (even minting silver coins), the fact is silver is now and will be valuable no matter which gov. produces it. Silver (and gold) has the value regardless where it comes from. One of the main reasons people get the "JUNK" is it is very recognizable anywhere in the world. Though we don't trust the gov. we do trust the old US silver. While stationed in Turkey (USAF) the local vendors would rather you pay in US dollars the the Turkish Lira. You got a good discount. If you paid in US silver, you got a tremendous discount. This was back in 1983.

So, there ya are. Thanks for the question. This is exactly why I love this site (Informative).

Recognizability means a lot.

danno,

buying ASEs or junk silver doesnt really support the US govt.

what you are buying is the silver content.

junk silver are old coins no longer being minted and us govt doesn't get anything out of your buying them.
even ASEs are only a small amount over spot.

the two nice things about buying official US coins is that:
1) they are "official" currency and less likely to be counterfeit (steep penalties for counterfeiting), and they are widely recognized and accepted
2) as they are official coins, it is unlikely in the event of PM confiscation that official coins would be confiscated.

Junk silver and ASE's are NOT backed by the govt. Even if the govt ceased to exist, these coins would still have silver value. Junk silver and ASE's are recognized and accepted all over the world. What is not real about that?

Given the large variety of physical silver options out there, buying a little of everything makes good sense. You may find yourself in a situation where you need something in a bad way but ASE's may be the only accepted payment. Look at it as diversifying within an asset class. Why limit your options?

Hello 2 oz.
Thanks for your response... I felt it would be something along those lines.. Like I said, it just makes me chuckle when I see it.. As long as we stack then it's all good!

I made a mistake when I wrote "backed by the government". What I meant was the government stands behind that product.. Meaning as stated in the event it was forged or counterfeited... I believe in having some of everything, diversifying... As I said, as long as we are all stacking it's all good... Silver, gold, copper, ammunition, well crafted finely tuned ammunition dispensing machines... All are needed!!

You are correct Danno. sorry I misinterpreted your post as I'm sure 4:40 did. Keep on getting it my friend.

Hey, 2oz, I was there from 82 to 83, at Incirlik AB. I was an avionics tech. Love that Adana kebap, and bought some Merschaum pipes. Bought the pipes with American dollars at a nice discount.
Small world, ain't it?

I agree about silver as the indispensable metal esp with this techie generation and the demands in the industrial field ... even about the APPLE COomputer needs ... my question now is COULD THIS BE THE VERY REASON WHY THEY MANIPULATED THE PRICE THIS LOW AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO because of its uses? So that these people could have it cheap and sell their merchandise cheap without raising the price?

Nerd alert:

In part 4 video, at about 1:15, there is a computer circuit board. It is a Commodore 64! As the upside down text on the RF modulator (square metal box upper just right of center of the frame) indicates. 6502's rock! Or in the C64's case 6510 (black 40 pin IC).

Thanks for the videos!
