Silver COT Report 11/18/11

The commercials increased their silver futures short positions a net 1,581 contracts (7.9 million ounces) in the week ending Tuesday 11/15/11, reducing shorts by 924 contracts, and longs by 2,505 contracts.
Clearly they were preparing for the massing coordinated attack launched on Thursday smashing silver 7% lower.  Look for the commercials (JP Morgan in particular) to have substantially covered their shorts into the smash when next week's COT report is released.
