Inventory volatility continued in COMEX silver warehouses Wednesday, with several large withdrawals and adjustments to report.
COMEX SILVER WAREHOUSE INVENTORY UPDATE 8/25/2011
*Brink's had a large withdrawal of 305,936 ounces out of eligible vaults
*The Delaware Depository had a small withdrawal of 9,997 ounces out of eligible vaults
*The Delaware Depository also adjusted 36,566 ounces into eligible vaults. This was not a deposit, just an adjustment, with no corresponding loss of inventory to account for it. Perhaps it was printed into existence?
*No movement in HSBC or JPM vaults. (JPM already transferred nearly all of their eligible silver into registered vaults yesterday, perhaps in anticipation of massive silver delivery demands in September)
*Scotia Mocotta had a withdrawal of 80,100 ounces out of eligible vaults
*TOTAL COMEX REGISTERED Silver inventory was unchanged on the day, standing at 33,538,485 ounces
*TOTAL COMEX ELIGIBLE Silver inventory declined a net 505,988 ounces to 71,226,156 ounces
*TOTAL COMEX SILVER Inventory declined to 104,764,641 ounces
