US Dollar, April 20, 2011 |
Throughout yesterday's trading the dollar took the escalator back down to the dungeon it popped out of for all of Monday. If that wasn't enough, it completely rolled over during Asian/European trading overnight. Honestly, the picture sums up the dollar and its current prospects better than we can. Hopefully the dollar can keep its snow covered, decaying head above 74 today, or its in real trouble.
As in panic collapse trouble.
As we called yesterday, gold has broken above $1500 on the move, last touching $1506. With $1500 breached, it wont take much to trigger the stops and send gold up near $1515-$1520.
Silver is also up big overnight, last touching $44.80, a mere 2 dimes away from $45. It looks like silver wants to hit $46 before it takes a rest here.
