1/2 Million Ounces of Silver Withdrawn from Brink's Vaults Friday

910Three decimal point fractional ounce silver accounting continued in COMEX silver warehouses Friday, as the implied level of accurate accounting by the CME would be humorous if the truth weren't so disturbing. We have only 2 silver inventory movements to report from Friday's trading, and both are in the Brink's vaults.

COMEX WAREHOUSE SILVER INVENTORY UPDATE 3/26/12

*Brink's received a deposit of 8,528.590 ounces into eligible vaults
*Brink's also had a withdrawal of 514,035.450 ounces out of eligible vaults

*No Changes for HSBC, Delaware, JP Morgan, or Scotia Mocatta

*COMEX REGISTERED inventories were unchanged at 36,060,896.240 ounces
*COMEX ELIGIBLE inventories declined a net 505,506.860 ounces to 99,284,172.500 ounces
*TOTAL COMEX SILVER declined to 135,345,068.740 ounces

While the CME is now reporting inventory levels to 3 decimal places, strangely enough- once again, NO MENTION FROM THE CME OF THE MISSING 1.4 MILLION OUNCES OF REGISTERED SILVER THAT SIMPLY DISAPPEARED IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE MF GLOBAL BANKRUPTCY!

As a strangely coincidental supply turned up in JPMorgan vaults almost simultaneously as the MFGlobal clients phyzz went missing, until the CME provides an update of what happened to this stolen inventory, The Doc will continue to provide the latest available info on this from the CME:

*Registered ounces of metal currently not available for delivery
as of 11/4/11 due to MFGI bankruptcy. Included in above totals.
