Silver American Eagle sales have slowed according to the US Mint figures when comparing the year over year statistics for February. February 2012 is on pace for roughly 1,510,000 ounces, well shy of the 3,240,00 SAE's sold last in 2011. Obviously, the US Mint figures needs to be taken with a grain of salt due to their reporting standards.
