Silver Open Interest Falls Below 100,000

Silver's open interest declined by 2,721 contracts today, and settled BELOW the 100,000 level at 99,698.
Again, this is an extremely low number, and we will be closely watching to see whether OI begins rallying as silver moves higher, or whether longs are finally throwing in the towel on the CRIMEX, and moving their business to new alternative exchanges such as the HKMEx and the Shanghai exchange- or simply shunning leverage and moving totally to physical bullion.
