“The Collapse of MF Global: Part 3”

The House Financial Services Committee will hold its 3rd hearing on MFGlobal's collapse today at 2pm.  While Jon Corzine is noticeably missing from the witness list, the witnesses who will be testifying today do include Assitant Treasurer Edith O'brien, who has stated in  emails leaked last week that she received direct instruction from JC to transfer $200 million in MFG client funds to JP Morgan.  JPM's Deputy General Counsel Diane Genova is also scheduled to testify.  Expect the hearing to focus on whether or not Jon Corzine had explicit knowledge that the funds being transferred to JPM were client funds, as there's nothing Congressmen enjoy more than a good perjury case, as Roger Clemens is aware.
