A detailed 73-page report is circulating called "The Netherlands and the euro," and it shows the Netherlands would benefit by leaving the eurozone. Mike "Mish" Shedlock talks about it and explains why Italy, Greece, Portugal and Spain are going to need lots more money and Germany and the Netherlands will end up footing the bill.

Can we stop with the 28 minute clips? I don't have the time to listen this. Just "play the hits" BJ! Keep the youtubes to < 5 min.
I don't like any video; just text please.
Chill bro. It's an important topic. Some of us have longer than a five minute attention span. If you don't want to watch it, don't watch it. I enjoy the long videos, if I can I make time to watch them I do.

First they have to post videos, because people are too lazy to read. Now they have to post videos less than 5 minutes, because people are too lazy to watch half hour shows. How much more stupid and lazy do you people plan on getting?
Very misleading headline. That report was done by a private group and Geert Wilder has given it some publicity but afaik there has been no official gov't action related to it. If the Dutch are going to leave the Euro (presumably along with Germans) they sure as hell aint going to announce it beforehand. You think they're as dumb as Gordon Brown?
I'd really like to bed her.
The only problem with 30 minute videos is not the contents, it's devoting time to listen to a 30 minute video, no matter how valuable the content. Each day there are scores of videos with valuable contents and there are just not enough hours in the day to review them. That's the problem. Audio presents the same dilemma; the amount of time needed to take in the contents
Most people can read and reading is about 10 times faster than watching a video, with its slow pace of talking, pauses etc. Written content can be edited down to a quick review without all the time spent reviewing the video contents and the same amount of information can be imparted. That's why I read ZH and other written content sites rather than the video-rich content of Brother John or other sites that rely largely on video.
So much information--so little time.
And this is not to say one medium is more valuable that another. It's the time needed to absorb the data.
One feature request I would make is to put a video ikon next to vid stories. That way I can avoid them at work and watch them when I get home (don't want to waste time and bandwidth at work).
